In The Archives ( [June] ) was reviewed the first edition of this book, the reviewer commending the author on his complete and understanding presentation of such an extensive subject. The second edition is even more praiseworthy and, indeed, sets an unusual example in that it is shorter, cheaper and more extensively illustrated than was its predecessor.

This book covers completely the whole subject of roentgenology of the gastrointestinal tract. It represents a tremendous amount of work on the part of the author, not alone because of the large field it covers but particularly because of the enormous amount of reading the author has done, as is shown by the extremely large bibliography presented.
